A day before Kemal's life changes forever and finally getting an opponent Kemal's always wanted since the day he got to SCW.

Antakya, Turkey. Tuesday 29th August 2023. (Off-Camera)

Last time everyone saw Kemal Yilmaz, he was out with his friends he met and granted, he had been spending all his time with them, only that one of them wasn't around anymore. A basketball player while helping to rise money, Nasim was offered an opportunity he couldn't refuse to play for a team in Istanbul a few weeks ago now so he was no longer with Nasim, but Hamza was still around as football had been suspended in Turkey until farther notice due to the earthquakes in Antakya.

It was at night now and since the times of Kemal being in the streets, over the past couple of months, he had been extremely weak. At first it was pretty easy to be fed and watered because there were food and drink supplies around, but now that was mostly gone because everyone had stolen those supplies to keep them alive.

Kemal however wasn't someone who stole things as he was too strict of his Muslim religion to do that sort of thing, but there were many Muslims who would break those rules to keep themselves alive. It so happens that Kemal had completely given up seeking for food and drink since for a few months and it's a real struggle for Kemal to keep himself alive. He had been beaten a lot because he refused drugs and had been hospital for a few weeks because of the damages he had to take.

He was alright for now though, but he knows he wants to move on with his life and didn't know what tomorrow will bring. Nor did his other friend, Hamza who also was expecting to be a football player when a footballer comes to see the state of Antakya. There was good news though, Kemal and Hamza did meet a new friend they've known for a week now, a guy who was a bidding Handball player known as Ahmet. He was a couple years younger than Kemal and Hamza.

Saying that, it was still new for Kemal and Hamza to hang around with and speak to as Ahmet was in the same situation as Kemal, the only handball player to be alive after playing the game as all of the players he was playing with to get into the professional handball game were dead and his family died as well. Ahmet who saw Kemal being down in the dumps as they were sitting on the ground in an alleyway asks a question.

Ahmet: “I know things are hard, but things will improve for the pair of you.”

Kemal Yilmaz: “I know, but I miss Nasim. He was a guy that really took me as a good guy when I was all alone in the streets, saved my life in many ways. Although I look like a piece of garbage at the minute.”

Hamza: “Yes, Kemal was very close to Nasim and they spoke for hours on end, even with me there because of that connection. After Nasim got the offer to join a basketball team in Istanbul, we were lost for a while.”

Ahmet: “I can imagine, but he had to be let go to follow his path to be a professional basketball player. I mean who knows if one of you may meet him one of these days.”

Kemal Yilmaz: “I doubt it as nobody gives a shit about me wanting to be an MMA fighter.”

It was very hard for Kemal to let Nasim go, but he knew it was for the best as he would end up getting paid a lot of money and live a better life. Nasim said he potentially has family, but lived very far away from the pair of them, while Kemal had no family or any sort of support anymore because of his family died in the earthquakes and same was for Ahmet too.

Hamza: “I doubt it and I know if you were approached by an MMA fighter, you'd be happy and go your own way. Any opportunities all of us get for MMA, handball or football, we must take them as it would provide us with better lives. If it wasn't an MMA fighter offering you a job and it was to become a professional wrestler, would you take it?”

Kemal Yilmaz: “I'm not sure as I was destined to be an MMA fighter.”

Ahmet: “You kidding, right? Sure professional wrestling may not be your number one sport you want to wrestle in, but you much prefer to be a professional wrestler, getting loads of money than being stuck out here and being dead.”

Kemal Yilmaz: “You know what? You have a point, Ahmet. If a wrestler came here today and offered me a wrestling job, I would take it as it is close to being an MMA fighter after all. Just can use weapons and high flying moves.”

Hamza: “Indeed and we would let you go if you got offered.”

It was true, it was a lot like MMA, without using weapons and high flying moves kind of thing and he had always seeked interest in facing Glory Braddock after finding out from books in library lately about her being a wrestler all about submissions after the discovery of the cards he saw from Hamza a few months ago that only exposed him to the wrestling business a lot more.

Ahmet: “You really look like you've been beaten to death literally. All those bruises, cuts on your face.”

Kemal Yilmaz: “Yeah because I said no to drugs and selling them, that's why. I've even been in hospital for a few weeks because of it.”

Hamza: “It's true as I went in the ambulance with him and was with him in hospital for a few weeks until he was let out and so was Nasim as well”

Ahmet: “You both are really good friends, despite the hell we're going through on people fighting for food and drink to keep themselves alive and it took Kemal balls to say no to drug dealers and selling drugs with them.”

It was because of Kemal's strict values of being a Muslim to not want anything to do with dealing drugs and selling them. Sure, it was money he needed, but he wasn't going to go and sell drugs to get money for it. It wasn't Kemal's kind of idea and he hated drugs, in fact wish they were completely banned from produce altogether.

Kemal Yilmaz: “Doing and selling drugs isn't going to get me to be a MMA fighter whatsoever, it would set me back and ruin my dreams to be one to a point I could risk myself of dying. Plus, I care about my religion.”

Hamza: “See, that's a guy everyone can respect is Kemal saying no to drugs because it's against his religion. A lot of people are so desperate for money that they would do anything to get it, even if it's selling drugs. That's what makes us different from them is we're willing to get free food and drink to survive over drug selling and doing the easy way.”

Ahmet: “It helps none of us if we want to capture our dreams of being an MMA fighter, an football player and a handball player. In fact, if we start taking drugs, we would be out of the sport before it even begins.”

Kemal Yilmaz: “Especially how strict the drug tests are in both MMA and if someone happens to change my life around in this business as well, wrestling. I just want to become the best as I was training for MMA before the earthquakes happened. Just a few weeks after the earthquakes, I was meant to be getting my black belt to be lured into getting into professional MMA fights, but well we know that didn't happen.”

That was one of the many down points Kemal had, along with not protecting his family enough from the earthquakes because he had to go to the MMA school to get trained for the black belt competition and he told everyone to run and he wasn't sure still if any of them made it out alive, but if they did, he would've at least heard from one of the members by now. Suddenly, there was this guy who had means to internet access who seemed to be a wrestling fan.

Wrestling fan guy: “Did you hear the news you guys?”

Ahmet: “What news?”

Wrestling fan guy: “Tomorrow, an SCW wrestler called Konrad Raab is going to come here and clean up the mess from the earthquakes. He's so dedicated to Climate Change that he's coming to help us. It's all over the news that he's in Syria today to do the same as he's doing here today.”

Kemal Yilmaz: “What, that face paint guy?”

Hamza: “Yes, that's him. I know, he doesn't look like a guy that would care about this, did you?”

Kemal Yilmaz: “Oh brilliant. I'm going to meet with him and hopefully, meet the wrestler and see what he'll do if I go to talk to him of achieving my goal maybe in a different way. What a kind man the guy is.”

Wrestling fan guy: “I'm surprised you guys didn't know he does climate change clean ups. I know for a fact that he's done Pakistan last year and many countries. He really is a legend.”

Ahmet: “There's your chance to meet the legend himself Kemal and if you're going to be a wrestler instead, we fully support your decision because it would be the best thing for you.”

Of course, the wrestling guy was confused and he didn't buy into Ahmet's wording of Kemal's dream can be risen to light on if he got in contact with Konrad tomorrow, his life could change for the better and he states this.

Kemal Yilmaz: “You guys are right. I will wait around here tomorrow for him and see what he says when he sees me and my weakness.”

The wrestling fan guy rans away as he thought Kemal was bluffing on him dreaming to be a professional wrestler now and his friends were right, it was almost like MMA in a way, but able to use weapons and high flying moves that you can't do in MMA whatsoever. It was getting dark now and it was for Hamza to say this.

Hamza: “Well, I think it's time for all of us to head off to bed. I would love to meet Konrad Raab, but I got things to do tomorrow unfortunately, but if this is a goodbye, hope that we will hit each other someday one day or another.”

Hamza gave Kemal a handshake before they all tucked into their sheltered tent they all, including Kemal built for themselves from material they saw laying around and Kemal, Hamza and Ahmet wrap themselves up in a sleeping bag and head off to sleep.

Finally get to face a wrestler that's all about submissions and technical wrestling that I want to beat so badly youtube.com shoot. (On-Camera)

“You know, I hear wrestlers discussing about their last match and how they did, but to be quite frank, I don't care to talk about it since I lost. What's the point of discussing it, especially to a guy who has no business not only being in the wrestling business, but has no business being the champion for this company. I never have or will understand Dexter's goal in the business as he can go and easily ban social media if he was president of USA. Doesn't need a wrestling platform for that. The loss is what it is and I still don't have any respect for the guy.

Unlike I do for Glory Braddock who at least is a wrestler I can take seriously and finally facing someone that I've wanted a match with since the day I came here. I know it would come as a surprise to my EFN members who think Glory is boring. But the reason I wanted to face Glory is because of her wrestling style. It's exactly the same as mine, technician and submission wrestler. Only I'm able to be an hardcore wrestler as well.

It's unfortunate that it's not an ultimate submission match though, because we'd put on a show, even if I become mean towards you, but it's part of who I am because until Konrad came to Turkey and developed me as a wrestler while fixing buildings from earthquakes, nobody cared to help me find a purpose. I almost died in the streets because I was so weak with hunger and thirst. I got beaten up many times all because I refused to sell and do drugs with others that were struggling for money.

You never had those struggles Glory. You had the wrestling business handed to you on a silver platter because of the family legacy. How many of you wrestlers leech off family legacies instead of actually making a name for yourselves in other sports beyond wrestling? My family never even watched wrestling or even knew anyone taking part in the sport, but my original plan was to be an MMA fighter.

But Konrad turned my decision around and it was the best decision that I get to showcase my technician and submission skills by one of the top wrestlers that can do that in the business. That's why Glory I've wanted to face you since the day I came here. But you honestly are joking if you're going to walk into America's ugly cousin country and win the match just because of the location of this place.

I can't ask Konrad for advice on how to beat you because it so happens he's busy this weekend racing in California, but I also don't need his help to beat you because you're talking to a guy who was going to be in MMA to make others tap out, to make people like you a waste of space. Sure go for it Glory, try to do everything to make me tap out, but you won't and you're hometown support isn't going to help you win.

Fact is your weakness is my strength, hardcore and power I process because of your size. I get it, but I'm going to expose every single one of your weakness as I'm sure you'll do with me being inexperienced and my anger because of the treatment I got after the earthquakes on nobody wanting to help me. Also seeking for family as well that I want to build because I don't have one anymore unlike you.

I'm going to do everything it takes to embarrass you and not just because we're in America's ugly cousin country where you come from, but embarrass you with my technical and submission skills along with throwing acid on your face and I will beat the daylights out of you, despite the titles you've won here, including the SCW World Title. I aim to be you someday, only with a lot more aggression and acid droppings I'll pour into this ring. Tomorrow night, this is an match that's going to be the curtain calling that everyone wants to see Europeans use their submission skills to make someone tap out. I will make you tap out and I will win because I can and I will when you see what this Turkish acid can do to a British goddess.”
